INGREDIENTS

170g melted bitter chocolate (64%)

135g butter

260g light brown sugar

180g sugar

20g molasses

10g vanilla extract

3 eggs

 

Sieve all the below:

300g self-raising flour

5g baking soda

2g salt

65g cocoa powder

290g of chocolate pistols / chips

CRUMBLE TOPPING

100g flour

50g light brown sugar

25g granulated sugar

½ tsp baking powder

Pinch salt

80g butter

GIANT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

METHOD

Cream the butter and sugar together with the molasses and add the eggs, one by one. Add all the dry/sieved ingredients, the vanilla and mix this for oen minute, followed by the melted chocolate. Mix until combined before rolling into 60g balls. Press the balls down lightly on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

 

Place into the oven at 200c for 8-10 minutes only so they stay goey! Place onto wire rack to cool.
