As I was part of the ambassador program for team 2012 and helped with raising funds for the British Olympic team, I was given the great honour of being part of the Olympic torch relay as a reward for all my efforts in the fund raising. This was such an amazing honour to be part of this procession, I ran across Battersea bridge in London carrying the Olympic torch. There were thousands of people lining the streets and cheering all the way. I got to keep the torch as well as a momentum, it was an exhilarating experience and one that I will always cherish forever. Having the whole of Battersea Bridge lined with crowds of people cheering was an amazing moment for me as well as many others.
