I was asked to join the culinary team for the prestigious Qatar airways to create first class and business food for their passengers.
This contract lasted for four years and I had to create over 150 dishes for them in this time to the upmost level of consistency, quality and originality. I was working with 3 other chefs who were each looking after a select group of flights through out the world. We had Chef Ramzi, from Lebanon, bringing his experience of Middle East cuisine to the fore; Mumbai-born Vineet Bhatia has his own unique blend of exotic Indian food, and myself providing a European offering, Nobu, from Japan, adding a touch of Asian fusion cuisine to the Qatar Airways ambassadorial line-up.
