SCALLOPS BAKED WITH LEMON AND THYME

INGREDIENTS

     +    

4 scallops with shells

1 clove garlic thinly sliced

1 tsp picked thyme leaves

1 Microplaned lemon Zest

Large pinch sea salt

8 turns of milled pepper

1 tsp butter in each shell

 

 

Method

     +    

Clean the scallops and shells well, making sure that they are dry.

In each shell, place the thyme, garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper, then the rest of the butter, seasoning, garlic and thyme on top.

Place into a hot oven at 180c for 6-7 minutes.
