Rye, Quinoa & Chia Porridge with seeded honey, natural yogurt

INGREDIENTS

Seeded Honey

10g toasted seeds

10g pumpkin seeds

10g sunflower seeds

10g Sesame seeds (white & black)

10g flaxseed or linseed

100g of honey

2g Maldon salt

     +    
Porridge

100g of mixed flakes malt, rye,

50g of quinoa

50g chia seeds

50g of steel cut oats

600ml oat milk

20g agave syrup

1 vanilla pod with seeds scraped out

4g cinnamon powder

3g salt

Method

Seeded Honey

Mix all the ingredients together.

     +    
Porridge

Combine the quinoa & chia seeds with all the milk, vanilla seeds, cinnamon, salt, agave syrup and soak for 15 minutes.

Add the rye flakes & oats, bringing the porridge mix to a gentle simmer, stirring every few minutes. Cook for approx. 15 minutes or until it reaches the desired texture & thickness. Add more milk if needed.

A generous bowl of the mixed grain porridge

Spoonful of plain yogurt

Spoonful of seeded honey

A little additional warm milk on the side if needed
