Grosvenor Asia celebrated the 20th anniversary of being in Asia, they have become one of the biggest land owners in Hong Kong and throughout the far east in Tokyo and Shanghai. The event was a Hotel Intercontinental and I had to create a 5-course menu for 400 people, with a champagne reception of 6 to 8 different canapés, with all the dishes had to reflect flavours from the UK, Japan, Shanghai and HK.
The event would be attended by VIP’s, from Asia and the UK, plus the 6 th Duke of Westminster Sir Gerald Grosvenor, company owners, senior executives from Hong Kong. Then many high-profile brands like Berry Bros, Graff Diamonds, Dom Perignon, LVMH, Sergio Rossi, De Beers. Aston Martin. It was a fantastic high- profile event, the after the dinner there was a whole staged event that had acrobats, Chinese dancers in dragon costumes, and a stunt scene from James Bond.
