This winter from the 2nd – 5th of February 2020, I will be hosting an exclusive, intimate, foodies’ travel experience at Alladale Wilderness Reserve in the Scottish Highlands, in collaboration with the European Nature Trust.

I will be introducing an exciting 4-day menu offering seasonal locally sourced ingredients from the highlands in a tribute to this uniquely Scottish experience, together with a masterclass at Alladale Wilderness Reserve.

Alladale is a nature lover’s dream and one of the last truly wild reservations of Scotland. The Alladale Wilderness Reserve is a 23,000 acre of rugged mountains, forests, rivers and lochs. 

This is the ultimate private getaway, a Victorian manor transformed into a high-end luxury hotel. 

Eco philanthropist Paul Lister acquired the Alladale estate, 50 miles north of Inverness, in 2003 and immediately set on one of Scotland’s most unique conservation projects, to create the Alladale Wilderness Reserve to bring back the former glory of how these wild and beautiful places ought to look like. 

The dedicated team at Alladale have a deep appreciation of the biodiversity of the region, and through the reforestation and rewilding programmes, they are replanting lush forests and reintroducing original Highland plant and animal species. 

Working together with the European Nature Trust who are equally committed to the restoration of native species and natural heritage to Scotland, 7% of Alladale Wilderness reserve revenue goes directly to the trust who work on several projects dedicated to the protection of Europe’s remaining wild places and restoring those already lost.
