Vertical Farming with MiniCrops

Vertical farming is transforming where and how we grow food, responding to a variety of challenges, including climate change, freshness, food mils and ethical procurement. I have been supporting @Mini_crops for around 18 months now and was one of their first clients. Their model of production and distribution in London is second to none – growing-to-order for chefs, harvesting overnight and delivering only hours later, and using no pesticides or herbicides. At the moment they grow mostly micro veg, herbs, and edible flowers but there growth plans are ambitious – in less than 18 months they aim to provide baby leaf varieties and some fruits for the London F&B market, all grown sustainably and often within walking distance. If you want to know more, get in touch with their team… but in the meantime, check out the video!
